Selected to the Lake County all-area team
and was all-tournament in the Galesburg Tournament as a junior. Averaged 9.5
points, five rebounds and had 43 blocks while making 54% of his shots
He is an honor student. Helped the Blue Devils (31-4) to the Class 4A state title game. His sister, Sarah, was Miss Basketball in Illinois and plays for Stanford. |

Majerle averaged
16.0 points and 4.5 rebounds per game last season and helped lead Rockford
to its third-straight Class A district title. He shot 85 percent from the
free-throw line and 40 percent from 3-point range. Honorable mention all-state as a junior. Selected to the Grand Rapids Press Dream team. AP first team all-state as a senior. Majerle averaged 22.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and two assists per game. |

Mathew has been the starting point guard
at Huron since his freshman year and the River Rats have enjoyed a 59-13
record in that time. Last season, during Huron’s run to the Class A state
finals, Mathew led the team in scoring (14.8 points), assists (4.2) and was
second in rebounds and steals. He was selected as the Washtenaw County Player of the Year. A 4.0 student. Detroit News second team all-state as a senior. He averaged 13 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.1 steals for the district champions. |

JULIUS "JUICE" BROWN 5-10, 165, GUARD HILLCREST (IL) HIGH SCHOOL |
Brown is an ultra-quick guard who can
score inside or from 3-point range. He averaged 14 points per game as a
junior. Also tough at the defensive end and above everything else is at his
best in crunch time situations, which is why he wins. That is why he was
one of the catalysts in leading Hillcrest to the class 3A state championship
last March. A four-year starter for Hillcrest. Two-time all-area selection. Chicago Sun-Times first team all-state as a senior. Averaged 19.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game. |
