NEW SAVAGE HALL RENOVATION DRAWINGS

October 3, 2007 - Here are the newest drawings for the Savage Hall renovation project, which will begin in a few months with some site preparation work at the northwest corner of the building.

The first illustration gives a better idea of how the new main entrance will look. You can see the Wisconsin lannon stone and limestone on the gabled entrance that is very similar to other UT buildings. Also visible on the west side of Savage Hall are new windows for offices and luxury box areas.

The second illustration gives a birds-eye view of the interior of the arena and new entrance looking towards the northwest. On the left is the current Grogan Room. Above the lower-level seating and upper-level seats are loges and suites. This drawing also gives a good look at the new corner seats on the second level and also a better look at the interior of the west entrance.
