PAGE EARNS NATIONAL HONOR

Toledo sophomore wide receiver Eric Page (Toledo, OH) was named the national kickoff returner of the week by the College Football Performance Awards for his performance in the Rockets' 37-24 victory at Western Michigan on Sept. 18. Senior cornerback Desmond Marrow (Youngstown, OH) was named honorable mention for defensive player of the week.

Page sealed UT's win with a 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown with 7:26 to play following a WMU TD that had pulled the Broncos to within a touchdown. Page also scored Toledo's first TD on a nine-yard reception and set up another with a 50-yard play in the second quarter.

Marrow had two interceptions, one he returned for a 15-yard touchdown, to go with 10 tackles and one pass broken up.
