MARIAH CARSON

6-1 POWER FORWARD

DETROIT SOUTHEASTERN HS

Averaged 27.8 ppg, 15.3 rpg, and 5.6 spg as a junior. First team Detroit Free Press All-Detroit. all-metro and second team all-state as a senior.

JANELLE REED-LEWIS

5-4 GUARD

DETROIT SOUTHEASTERN HS

Reed-Lewis averaged 17.3 points, 8.7 assists and 5.5 steals per game for the Jungaleers as a junior. She was a second-team All-Metro honoree and also earned honorable mention all-state accolades as a senior.

ANNA SONKA

6-0 FORWARD

AGENKALNA STATE, LATVIA/COWLEY COUNTY COLLEGE

Sonka averaged 7.1 points and 4.0 rebounds this past season. She finished second on the team in three-pointers made (30). She represented her home country at the 2009 U18 European Women's Championship in Sweden, averaging 8.8 points, 2.4 boards and 1.1 assists per contest. She shot 52.8 percent from the field and 73.3 percent from the charity stripe over the course of nine games.

Will have three years of eligibility at UT.

KENEESHA LEE

6-2 CENTER

MESQUITE (AZ) HS/COWLEY COUNTY COLLEGE

Lee averaged 10.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and a league-leading 2.7 blocks per game as a sophomore at Cowley.

Will have two years of eligibility at UT.

SARAH CLARK

5-10 GUARD/FORWARD

DELPHOS (OH) ST JOHN'S HS/OWENS CC

Clark averaged 11.3 points, 9.6 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game and shot 37.1 percent from three-point range this past season to help the No. 6-ranked Express post a 27-6 win-loss mark and advance to the NJCAA Region XII Championship Game. She was a preseason second team All-American. Clark tallied 11.8 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game with a 38.0 three-point field-goal percentage (38-of-100) in her freshman campaign.

At St John's, she was a first team all-district performer as a senior averaging 13.9 ppg.

BRIANNA JONES

6-2 CENTER/FORWARD

TOLEDO CENTRAL CATHOLIC / UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS

Saw action in 12 games last season at Illinois. Averaged 0.8 points and 0.3 rebounds per game . Will have 3 years of eligibility after sitting out this coming season.

At Central Catholic, she was ranked as the No. 43 senior in the country by Blue Star ... Also ranked as the No. 26 forward in the nation according to ESPN HoopGurlz ... All-State Division I special mention as a senior, averaging 17.6 points and 12.0 rebounds per game ... First team All-District and All-City as a senior .

PANDORA-GILBOA (OH) HS

Averaged 13.6 ppg and four rebounds while while being named second-team All-Blanchard Valley Conference and all-district honorable mention as a sophomore.

First team all-district and second team D IV All-Ohio as a junior. Averaged 14.1 points per game.
 

TAYLOR CARVER

6-1 FORWARD

WOODLAN (IN) HIGH SCHOOL

Averaged 15-8 points and 8.8 rebounds as a junior earning honorable mention all-underclassmen honors in Indiana.

“She’s so valuable,” head coach Tonya Burns-Cohrs said. “She’s left-handed, 6-foot-1, very athletic. She can jump out of the gym.”

A high jumper and sprinter on her school's track team, she also plays volleyball.

ANA CAPOTOSTO

5-10 GUARD

SAUGATUCK (MI.) HIGH SCHOOL

Capotosto averaged 20.1 points per game last season and earned Class C All-Michigan first-team honors. She also posted 9.5 rebounds, 3.2 steals, 2.5 assists and 1.2 blocks per game while helping lead Saugatuck to a 16-6 record.

She is also an excellent track athlete  who won all-state honors and also plays volleyball.
